About Neon Pothos
This thing is almost aggressively yellow-green. No variegation, just pure electric chartreuse. Somehow works in every single room and brightens a corner like nothing else.
The bright color comes from pigments in the leaves that develop in good light. Even in lower light, Neon Pothos stays noticeably brighter than other green Pothos varieties. It's genuinely one of the easiest ways to add instant color to a space.
How to Care for Neon Pothos
Light
Thrives in low to bright indirect light. The brighter the light, the more vibrant the neon color. Can tolerate low light better than variegated Pothos.
Water
Every 1–2 weeks. Neon Pothos is just as forgiving as Golden Pothos in terms of watering.
Humidity
Standard indoor humidity. Nothing special needed.
Propagation
Ridiculously easy. Snip, water prop, roots in 2 weeks.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Care is identical to Golden Pothos. This one's truly unfussy — the only difference is the color.
- Brighter light = brighter color. If your Neon seems less vibrant, it's probably in too-low light. Move it closer to a window.
- Color is stable. Unlike variegated Pothos, Neon won't revert to a different color in different conditions.
Best Placement
Works almost anywhere, but looks best where there's enough light to keep the neon glow vivid. A bedroom dresser, kitchen counter, or living room shelf — Neon Pothos will brighten the space and require almost zero maintenance.
